When will work on the project begin?
The project is scheduled to begin March 11.

What are the work hours for this project?
Planned work hours are 7 a.m. – 7 p.m., Monday-Friday and Saturdays 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.; no work on Sundays.

When will this project be completed?
The schedule is to have all new lanes open to traffic in late fall, weather permitting.
 
Will I receive mail during the course of construction?
Yes.  Mail will continue to be delivered door-to-door for the duration of construction.
 
Will my garbage be picked up?
Yes; access will be provided to maintain your scheduled weekly pickup.  Please have the garbage out by 7 a.m.; Advanced Disposal will attempt to pick up in construction areas first thing on collection day.
 
Will I have access to my driveway?
Access will be affected only while work is being performed at your driveway.  You will be informed in advance of necessary closures.  The Village understands the inconvenience and hopes to keep it to a minimum.  Please notify one of the contacts in this brochure ASAP about access concerns.
 
Where can I park my car?
When access to your driveway is affected, you may park on side streets; the police department is aware of the project.
 
Will a portion of my driveway apron be replaced?
Yes, portions of aprons will be removed and replaced at no cost to the owner.  The limits of replacement will be painted on the apron. 
 
Will my property be restored if damaged?
Yes, the contractor will restore your property if damaged during the work.  Please contact the Resident Engineer if you have a lawn sprinkler system in the parkway or near the public sidewalk.
   
Will access to the Community Playfield be maintained?
Yes; access will be provided to the park for all events.
 
How will this project affect my child’s access to and from school?
Traffic will be one-way northbound during construction.  Active work zones will have flaggers to assist students to safe walking areas.  Inactive excavations required to be left open will be properly protected.  Students should be instructed to walk or ride bikes on sidewalks and stay out of the work zones.  If you have questions about your child’s bus stop, please contact your child’s school.
